ScienceBeam is a forefront of technology provider of innovative solutions of electrophysiology system such as data-acquisition, microelectrode amplifier, stimulator and recording and analysis software for recording of neural signals from the brain and peripheral nervous system.

ScienceBeam founded by Dr. Seyed Mohammad Noorbakhsh, and now it is a team of engineers, programmers and neuroscientists with expertise in research, product development, and advanced neurotechnology research systems.

We also hold many workshops and courses in the field of electrophysiology for the aim of education, research and collaboration for students, scientists and clinicians.

ScienceBeam designs, builds, and markets advanced hardware and software that is used to acquire, amplify, record, and analyze action potential/LFP/EEG signals from nervous system and recording of behavioral and stimulus events. ScienceBeam's products enable online, real-time visualization of neural signals relative to external events and stimuli.

This data is used for a wide variety of purposes, such as:

  • Studying basic information processing in the brain relating to visual, auditory, motor, memory, and other neural functions
  • Studying the effects of drugs and toxins on brain information processing
  • Controlling external devices such as prosthetic limbs or brain machine system
  • help to develop neural implant to restore some brain and spinal cord functionality by electrical stimulation

We plan research projects in the field of electrophysiology, Electronics, Medical devices and signal processing.

We share research ideas and collaborate with researchers and scientists.

Our goal is to build an environment to expand science border in the field of neural prostheses, neural diagnosis and treatment by electrophysiology.

We design and market some edge of science and technology tools for running electrophysiological experiment by scientists around the world to make their scientific dreams to be real.

ScienceBeam was a one person company founded by Dr. Seyed Mohammad Noorbakhsh , but now it is a  team of engineers and neuroscientists with expertise in research, product development, and advanced neurotechnology research systems.

ScienceBeam designs, builds, and markets advanced hardware and software that is used to acquire, amplify, record, and analyze action potential signals (spikes) from individual brain cells (neurons), as well as low frequency field potential (LFP and EEG) signals and behavioral and stimulus events. These signals are typically recorded from live brains (animal or human), brain-slice  or  cell cultures. ScienceBeam's products enable online, real-time visualization of neural signals relative to external events and stimuli.

This data is used for a wide variety of purposes, such as:
