Equipment Trial Agreement

This Equipment trial Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered on ………………. by and between ScienceBeam (“Company”) and …………….. on behalf of ……………….. (“User”) (collectively referred to as the “Parties”)

The Parties agree as follows:

1. EQUIPMENT: ……………………………………..

        The vendor shall provide equipment for a 1-month trial at no charge (excluding shipping costs) during the trial period, as hereinafter defined.

2. REQUIRMENTS:

     Letter of recommendation signed and sealed by the university

3. TRIAL TERM:  The Trial will start on                                                     (begin date) and will end on      (end-date) (1 Month).
4. PURPOSE: The equipment is provided for the customer, at no cost, for evaluation purposes only, to enable the customer to determine whether it meets its research requirements. At the conclusion of the trial period, the Equipment will either be purchased (under a separate purchase agreement) or returned to the Vendor.
5. VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Vendor agrees to (i) deliver the Equipment with its software, accessories, and disposals to the Customer; (ii) install the Equipment or provide installation instructions to the Customer; (iii) provide training or instructions regarding the Equipment’s operation to the Customer.
6. DELIVERY: The Delivery period starts within 4-6 weeks after receiving a recommendation letter, depending on the shipping period.
7. NOTICE: Customers must have an activation code in order to work with the device and its related software. The vendor will activate your device for a one-month free trial. After a one-month trial, the device will be disabled automatically and can be enabled upon request to purchase the Equipment.
8. USE OF EQUIPMENT, DAMAGE, AND LOSS: Customer shall only use the Equipment in a careful and proper manner and comply with instructions and orders regarding the use and maintenance of the Equipment. Ordinary wear and tear accepted as it was at the commencement of the Agreement.
